“Leave more than you take.”

Edward believes that by having a positive impact, every event can go beyond just being a great attendee experience. From rebuilding a section of The Great Wall of China during a corporate multi-day program to constructing prosthetic hands in Istanbul, he strives to leave more than he takes in each location that he works.

Social responsibility takes many forms at Edward Perotti’s events. On a small scale, it’s choosing vendors with sustainable practices and food waste management programs. On a larger scale, it’s incorporating activities that benefit the communities in which the event takes place. A recent example is the construction of a teen innovation center for the Boys & Girls Club of Hawaii. During this large corporate incentive event, attendees donated their time to this CSR (corporate social responsibility) activity which has to date benefited over 6,000 local middle school aged children.

Edward’s give back efforts have been recognized by the GMIC (Green Meetings Industry Council) and SITE (Society of Incentive Travel Executives). He is viewed as a social responsibility thought leader in the meetings and events industry.
